  • Miriam Meridjen

    Founder & Director

    Miriam, our Theatre Manager by DNA, blending her half-French, half-German roots into the cultural tapestry of Greece. When not orchestrating Fringe magic, Miriam indulges in long walks, immerses herself in books, and savors the finest wines with friends. Her expertise and passion enrich the organisation of the festival.

  • Jo Manavopoulou

    Artistic Director

    Having worked in festivals in Greece & abroad for many years, including Edinburgh Fringe, as a programmer, head of marketing & organiser, Jo is our festival wizard. She enjoys traveling, hammocks, dancing and late-night philosophical conversations at her favorite bars with friends & strangers.

  • Anna-Maria Iakovou

    Marketing Manager

    Anna-Maria, our Marketing Manager, brings her experience from the theatre, having worked as a director as well as a production manager, collaborating with distinguished institutions such as the NTNG and the National Theatre. Since 2021, she has established the Non-Profit Organization, Dulcinea, with artistic and educational activities, thus supporting the ongoing need for creative development and fostering the team spirit that every collective aspires to possess.

  • Stella Kioutsiki

    Festival Coordinator

    Stella is our multi-talented festival coordinator. By day, she’s a dedicated physics student, delving into the mysteries of the universe, and by night, an avid art enthusiast. Stella’s love for hiking and her adventurous spirit in traveling perfectly complement her innate drive to always chase new and exciting projects.

  • Ioanna Petridou

    Press Manager

    With a background in Accounting & Finance and a Master’s in Arts and Culture Journalism, she naturally aligned with ThessFringe’s intersectional spirit. Often lost in her notes to support initiatives that uplift her hometown. She enjoys nature, meeting people, listening to stories, and adding a touch of poetry to everyday life.

  • Andreea Iuliana Burciu

    Festival Management Assistant

    Andreea is based in Bucharest, Romania, with a background in international theatre and festival production. When she’s not at the festival, she works as a Project Artist Manager in the music industry. She has a natural ability to think several steps ahead and creativity is her oxygen. In her free time, she enjoys authentic experiences, traveling, and making the most of every moment.

  • Areti Pagoura

    Volunteer Support & Hospitality Coordinator

    Areti, an art aficionado who believes music is her religion, turning to the radio or Spotify for solace; she envisions a harmonious world of peace and joy through the universal language of art, making her an inspirational force within our festival team.

  • Vicky Ioannidou

    Volunteer Coordinator

    Vicky, our festival dynamo, holds a degree in English language and literature. With a penchant for open-air cinemas, stand-up comedy, and theatre, she brings a unique blend of passion to the team. Follow the crumbs – snacks are her signature, and her admiration for artists’ perseverance makes her an invaluable part of our vibrant crew.

  • Dimitris Komnos

    Venue Coordinator (Theatres)

    Dimitris, our Venue Partnership Coordinator (Theatre stages), combines a background in visual arts and cultural management with a hands-on approach to festival making. A natural problem solver and connector, he keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes, supporting artists, venues, and audiences alike while helping create a welcoming and collaborative festival experience.
